We are aware the 2011 Comic-Con articles are lost in Cyber Space and are attempting to find the drafts from which that material was made and get it back in place.

Covert Affairs - A Quick Glimpse

Posted by Picasa

Preview night was a blast from the past.

There was room on the hall floor to move around, people were able to get up to the booths they were interested in and talk to the reps... in so many ways Preview Night 2011 was like it was in the days before Comic-con sold out-  complete with polite con-goers who apologized if they or their swag bag bumped you.

Hopefully it was a night of good omens kicking off a fun weekend.

Tip for first time attendees

Over the past several years Comic-Con has evolved in some very interesting ways.

Now, not only are there Comic-Con exclusive items, but in some cases you can pre-order them through a website for pick up at a booth at the convention - so now's the time to be haunting the websites of your favorite vendors and finding out what they have in mind for Comic-Con. {It can also help with budgeting, thinking early about what you might want to buy, instead of impulse buying everything in sight without your poor wallet having been given fair warning.}

Also take note during the convention - some vendors will have available on their websites AFTER con items that were designed to be released at con, and sold until this one-time-only production run sells out.

Warner Brothers is counting down to Comic-Con in San Diego!

Comic-Con is already sold out, and those fans with badges have a LOT of fun to look forward to.

This is an event people from around the world come to be a part of, a convention the movers and shakers of the comics, television and movie industries take seriously.

A chance to meet the men and women behind your favorite characters. To hear actors talk about the experience of taking written words and bringing life to the stories. An opportunity to make new friends, or catch up with old ones, who share their love of being entertained.

So, with more than a month of waiting left to be endured before the pilgramage to San Diego begins, some of the companies who will have booths on the exhibit floor are using the web to get the word out about what fans can expect.

Here's a look at what the WB has planned... scroll down to revisit fond memories from 2010.
